Transgender Youth Resource Now on Kindle!

"'Where's MY Book?' A Guide for Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Youth, Their Parents, & Everyone Else" is now on Amazon Kindle. I am especially happy that this allows more people to read this information at a lower cost ($9.99) - and to do so with greater privacy. Check it out on The paperback version, made so beautiful by the paintings of Jacqui Beck as shown, is selling one-by-one all over the country. It is so gratifying to see books purchased by folks in very small towns where resources for the trans community are limited.

Aidan Key Gives Powerful Speech at Transgender Day of Remembrance Event at Seattle's City Hall.

Aidan Key's address at the Transgender Day of Remembrance Ceremony at City Hall last night was one of the most powerful speeches I have ever heard. Congratulations, Aidan. In honor of this, I'm posting a painting done by Jacqui Beck specifically to represent Aidan and titled, "Standing Forth."

Standing Forth by Seattle Artist Jacqui Beck

Understandably, it was chosen for the title page of "'Where's MY Book?' A Guide for Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Youth, Their Parents, & Everyone Else." Extraordinary speech, extraordinary event.

Thank you for the early reviews!

To Amazon buyers, thank you so very much for a couple of early reviews! Reviews mean a lot in promoting any book, and I am grateful.

We all know how important this book is: whether it's a puberty book for a young teen or the puberty book you never had, this book will provide a great deal of information. And information saves lives!

New Transgender Book is Born

There's nothing like picking up the first copies of a newly born book! Writing Where's MY Book? A Guide for Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Youth, Their Parents & Everyone Else has been a labor of love.

Having worked with transgender clients for almost eighteen years, I have long recognized the need for credible information - particularly for young people. But even for people who've already transitioned years ago, this is the puberty book you never had!

This book is enormously enhanced by the artwork of Jacqui Beck - many of the paintings in this book come from her Gender Personal Exhibit (

One of my favorite paintings of Seattle artist,
Jacqui Beck: "Forget the Glass Slipper"

I rated the book "R for Realistic." We use real words, and show real anatomic illustrations. Too much realism? I don't think so. The people I treat have already been all over the Internet!

The book will be available shortly on, and in e-Book formats through Kindle and Nook.

Take care,
